Stuart McNair a business professional in his mid 20s, will explore the meanings of American citizenry and community with a pioneering spirit that can only be described as “American” on the machine he has been passionate about since his early teens—the motorcycle. Stuart rides a 2004 Victory Vegas.
This includes cuisine, nightlife, leisure activities, music, and politics. McNair will occupy the dual role of cultural ambassador and intellectual sponge—acting as ambassador only inasmuch as he will share his experiences–primarily listening with intent and allowing himself to be taught the lessons of the road and the people whom he encounters along their journey.
McNair will explore the unifying, adventurous pioneer spirits of Americans as he rolls through the cow-towns of Denver;
California’s City of Angels; and the bustling chaos of Florida. McNair’s journey will intrepidly illustrate the passions, lifestyles, and shared roots between the people of the America.
Call it the American Motorcycle Diaries, call it a quarter life crisis, call it insanity. But call it what it is—the still thriving
spirit of an adventurous soul who knows there is more out there and who refuses to accept less, casting caution to the wind and letting highway
miles filled with the endless possibility of the unfolding road carry him along their journey.
At some point, most of us will make compromises with life, and perhaps rightly so. McNair is determined to leave the gas tank on Empty before beginning to bargain, and I invite you along for the ride.
